The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Gürel Zeyni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rômulo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batt Man read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Geronimo Daunte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosario central's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Rômulo Guerra scored to the left of an out of position Batt Man, making the score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Rosario central's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Marino came free, but Batt Man reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Marino got free with Batt Man in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Rosario central's Ciro Frederik got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Honorio Stephen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batt Man showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rômulo Guerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Batt Man when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luisito Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batt Man having to interfere. Fabricio Huly struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Emilio Bibiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario central. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Batt Man stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Guerra's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Sabalero got a freekick which was hit by Gürel Zeyni. Luisito Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batt Man made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Guerra in the 63rd minute of play. The Sabalero fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Sabalero's Luisito Marino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Marino in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batt Man saved Rosario central from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Marino in the 70th minute of play forced Rosario central's goalkeeper Batt Man to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabalero were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Rosario central's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorio Stephen took the corner. The corner ended in Honorio Stephen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rosario central's Batt Man did a great save. Rômulo Guerra scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batt Man, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabalero made a substitution. Basilio Eneko replaced Luisito Marino. After having played for 87 minutes, Rômulo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabalero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Eneko in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batt Man prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Abad in the 90th minute of play forced Rosario central's goalkeeper Batt Man to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Sabalero's corner Rômulo Guerra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Batt Man quite easily take care of the ball. In the 94th minute, Basilio Eneko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batt Man was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Batt Man made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Eneko in the 97th minute of play.
