The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luizinho Mello came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sepultura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Mello couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Min was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Shaheen Al Najdi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shaheen Al Najdi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Moquehuá AFC booed when Sepultura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaheen Al Najdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Ivan Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizinho Mello got free with Isidoro Min in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filiberto Nuxila was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ovidio Federigo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Luizinho Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Min was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Cristofol in the 47th minute of play forced Sepultura FC's goalkeeper Saturnino Formerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Patxi to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Formerio made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Lucas Cristofol sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 52 minutes, Clodoveo Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moquehuá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Patxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sepultura FC booed when Moquehuá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Luizinho Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moquehuá AFC's Isidoro Min was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luizinho Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sepultura FC booed when Moquehuá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Filipe Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saturnino Formerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Victoro in the 69th minute of the match. Wilfredo Txartiko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Formerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Moquehuá AFC's Isidoro Min played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Mello in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Sepultura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Pio came free, but Saturnino Formerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Min having to interfere.
