Rafael Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 1-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Lucas Goizeder elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Atlético Arcos's Rafael Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Solari in the 22nd minute of play. Rafael Errapel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 43 minutes, Pablo Solari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Solari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Club Atlético Arcos booed when Riverzone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Goizeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pablo Solari made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Riverzone got a corner. Club Atlético Arcos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Díaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Arcos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enzo Díaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Riverzone's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Riverzone's Lucas Goizeder to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 57th minute Esequiel Barco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Arcos's goalkeeper Rafael Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Lucas Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
