Anastasio Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Mattei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Everardo Santxol made a huge save. If Carmine Oddi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Santxol was a little too slow when Renato Mattei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. Aquiles Nisio got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Segundo Martinez. The supporters of Club Atlético Ranchos booed when Capioviciño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Manson didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteve Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Renato Mattei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Everardo Santxol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlético Ranchos getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aquiles Nisio hit a great ball. When Capioviciño's Renato Mattei in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Renato Mattei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Santxol was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
