Gerardo Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Artal having to interfere. Olimpo's Carolo Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Botello in the 25th minute of play. Nicasio Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Ascencio in the 26th minute of play. Domingo Senen's late challenge caught a Jesucristo es la Solución's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Senen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35thth minute of the game Gerardo Botello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpo's Carolo Artal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abel Seguinus struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Carolo Artal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jesucristo es la Solución. Chris Gilson charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Gilson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Jesucristo es la Solución's Chris Gilson got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Viator in the 43rd minute of play forced Jesucristo es la Solución's goalkeeper Nicasio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Alonso came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpo's Serafin Viator. But to his dismay, Serafin Viator quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Olimpo's Teo Ascencio got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Gerardo Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Gilson got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 65th minute, Chris Gilson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Olimpo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jesucristo es la Solución:s goal. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Jesucristo es la Solución. Orlando Daunte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carolo Artal. 3-1. 77 minutes into the match, Zacarias Argider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carolo Artal. Olimpo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jesucristo es la Solución's Gerardo Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Gentza couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Jesucristo es la Solución players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
