The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Timo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 10 minutes, Paulino Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacique FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Efrain Chayo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prospero Erlantz, 1-0. Alonzo Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Ugutz in the 17th minute of the match. Anselmo Pes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Erlantz having to make a save. Paulino Thomas struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Prospero Erlantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacique FC. The supporters of Cacique FC booed when MAGIC IS IN THE AIR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Timo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Crescencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Cacique FC's Efrain Chayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 39th minute, Marcos Medina made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Afonso. Cacique FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Anselmo Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Erlantz having to interfere. Paulino Thomas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Efrain Chayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacique FC and the MAGIC IS IN THE AIR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Efrain Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The MAGIC IS IN THE AIR fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when MAGIC IS IN THE AIR's Patricio Ugutz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Mateo Eneko's late challenge caught a Cacique FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Eneko helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Erlantz came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacique FC's Paulino Thomas. But to his dismay, Paulino Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Prospero Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes MAGIC IS IN THE AIR got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Cordeal. After 69 played minutes Cacique FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Claris. If Marcos Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Cacique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Walme to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Prospero Erlantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Erlantz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Thomas went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Prospero Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Chayo in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cacique FC's Alonzo Afonso got control of the ball when Patricio Ugutz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
