Clemente Gabon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elo Orris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, CD ESPAÑOL's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Gabon came free, but Elo Orris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Carlitos Tevez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zachariasz Frenzel. The goal made the score 2-0. El taladro's Zachariasz Frenzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save El taladro from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Carlitos Tevez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zachariasz Frenzel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlitos Tevez got free with Zachariasz Frenzel in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saul Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Zachariasz Frenzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlitos Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute Clemente Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elo Orris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Tevez in the 48th minute of play forced El taladro's goalkeeper Zachariasz Frenzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlitos Tevez to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Alesandro Del Piero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachariasz Frenzel. Carlitos Tevez struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Zachariasz Frenzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD ESPAÑOL. CD ESPAÑOL's Carlitos Tevez got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes El taladro got a freekick which was hit by Saul Tino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlitos Tevez in the 68th managed to get into a good position. The audience was convinced that Carlitos Tevez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Frenzel was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
