An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Edwardo in the 6th minute of play forced Azzurro FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Forest Green's Guillermo Cuarto in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azzurro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Leonel Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forest Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Guillermo Cuarto sped through Azzurro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. Leonel Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Arotza having to interfere. Guillermo Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ubaldo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leonel Edwardo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Forest Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Edwardo couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Guillermo Cuarto sped through Azzurro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. Maximiliano Oidor charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Oidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Azzurro FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Oidor. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Guillermo Cuarto put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. Leonel Edwardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Arotza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Azzurro FC defense, Guillermo Cuarto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. The Azzurro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Arotza should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Guillermo Cuarto sped through Azzurro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. In the 42ndth minute of the game Guillermo Cuarto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azzurro FC's Ubaldo Arotza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modesto Jerano's late challenge caught a Forest Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Sven Lind made a precise shot to the right of Ubaldo Arotza. Azzurro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Azzurro FC's Ubaldo Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Lind in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Forest Green were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Cuarto to make the kick off. If Leonel Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonel Edwardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Arotza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Ubaldo Arotza was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Guillermo Cuarto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guillermo Cuarto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Guillermo Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Arotza having to interfere. Guillermo Cuarto in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubaldo Arotza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ubaldo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Cuarto went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the match, Sven Lind notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Azzurro FC's Ubaldo Arotza. Ubaldo Arotza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 70 in the game by Guillermo Cuarto from a close distance when the talented Ubaldo Arotza managed to make a qualified save. Azzurro FC's players were relieved. Azzurro FC's Ubaldo Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Azzurro FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Ubaldo Arotza managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Forest Green's Guillermo Cuarto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Forest Green were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Azzurro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timoteo Abalos took the corner. Timoteo Abalos made a great header on Forest Green's corner, it was just that Azzurro FC's Ubaldo Arotza managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Forest Green's Sven Lind got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Modesto Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ubaldo Arotza came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Green's Guillermo Cuarto. But to his dismay, Guillermo Cuarto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Leonel Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Arotza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Cuarto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Arotza was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Forest Green played a much better game than Azzurro FC and deserved their victory. The Azzurro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
