Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cleto Olivar took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Bernabe Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match, Jacobo Iruinea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Nofre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabio Totakoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Olivar in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Forest Green's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Olivar came free, but Fabio Totakoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Forest Green's Jacobo Iruinea got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Magyares United got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Dei. Jacobo Iruinea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 22nd minute, Bernabe Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Jacobo Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Marcos Nofre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fausto Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forest Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Nofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Florentino Piarres fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forest Green's protests and gave Florentino Piarres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Forest Green's Florentino Piarres got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lisandro Loreto hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Aquilino Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Marcos Nofre came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Green's Jacobo Iruinea. But to his dismay, Jacobo Iruinea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 60 minutes in the game, Cleto Olivar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabio Totakoxe having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Magyares United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Pes. Fausto Dantel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Marcos Nofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forest Green. After having played for 65 minutes, Fausto Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forest Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Dantel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Cresconio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Fabio Totakoxe made a huge save. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Forest Green's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aquilino Montes was slow to take the kick. During this time Magyares United's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Bernabe Cresconio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 74th minute, Cleto Olivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marcos Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Cleto Olivar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Magyares United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Simon Pes scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Totakoxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cleto Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Forest Green got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Iruinea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Iruinea in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Nofre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Forest Green were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Magyares United for a fine match.
