Fabricio Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Tuste in the 18th minute of the match. The wind increased when Silverio Tuste made the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Nuñez came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells Old Boys's Cristian Blanco. But to his dismay, Cristian Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. With a little luck, Carnerillo's Fabricio Nuñez got control of the ball when Silverio Tuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carnerillo's Fabricio Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Carnerillo from getting a goal against them. Silverio Tuste might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Tuste ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the game, Cristian Blanco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabricio Nuñez. Cristian Blanco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7.
