After some careless play in the Vikingos FC defense, Robustiano Elazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Berbiz. The Vikingos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Berbiz should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Luis Iruinea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luis Iruinea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ricardo Berbiz 10 minutes into the match. Federico Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Isaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Luis Iruinea in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ricardo Berbiz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ricardo Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ricardo Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Iruinea scored 5-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Berbiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ignatius came free, but Ricardo Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Ignatius to strike the kick off in the second half. The PAMPA FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when PAMPA FC's Hermengildo Ignatius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricardo Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ignatius in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vikingos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robustiano Elazar was slow to take the kick. During this time PAMPA FC's players had a chance to rest. PAMPA FC's Robustiano Elazar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Berbiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Luis Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ignatius came free, but Ricardo Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luis Iruinea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Berbiz was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Vikingos FC's Ricardo Berbiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Iruinea in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ignatius in the 63rd minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricardo Berbiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ottó Lázár went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Ricardo Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ignatius in the 85th minute of play. Ricardo Berbiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Ignatius's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Ottó Lázár struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ricardo Berbiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAMPA FC. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Vikingos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PAMPA FC:s goal. The referee gave PAMPA FC a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Robustiano Elazar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vikingos FC's Ricardo Berbiz. 12-0. Ricardo Berbiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ignatius in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PAMPA FC fully deserved thier win.
