An unexpectedly hard shot by Botond Baranyai in the 5th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Nunez Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Montrel charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Montrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Godfredo Montrel hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Julian Esiquio fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ß®µ┼ا's protests and gave Julian Esiquio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ß®µ┼ا's Julian Esiquio got a free kick in the 19th minute. Edgard Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximen Roca having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Botond Baranyai made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. River Plate's Nunez Fanuco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botond Baranyai in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Botond Baranyai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Fanuco was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Botond Baranyai came free, but Nunez Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Todor hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nunez Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Julian Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. If Botond Baranyai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Fanuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Botond Baranyai, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of ß®µ┼ا booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Celso Gabrio. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nunez Fanuco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julian Esiquio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nunez Fanuco firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of River Plate booed when ß®µ┼ا was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Botond Baranyai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ß®µ┼ا players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
