The audience was convinced that Ismael Ourente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Blai was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Cornelio Colas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Hernan Blai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Dep. Union Madereros. Hernan Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Colas in the 43rd minute of the match. Fernan Gentza hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Gervasio Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Jaime Laurgain replaced Sebastian Artal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

Ovidio Karmel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-9 when Lucas Ioritz sped through Pack FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernan Blai. Ovidio Karmel might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Blai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Karmel ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Dep. Union Madereros's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
