Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leon Argider kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun got control of the ball when Leon Argider tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute of the game, Dario Onofre landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 8 minutes into the game, Bartolo Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salinas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fútbol Club Sauce Corto the free kick. Bartolo Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Argider in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Lohitzun saved Salinas FC from getting behind. Elvio Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, Salinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Matei to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Salinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Matei. Leandro Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Argider struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Elvio Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fútbol Club Sauce Corto. In the 40th minute, Leon Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Kepa having to interfere. Rigoberto Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Lohitzun having to interfere. Bartolo Pedroso hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Frasco to make the kick off. Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Argider in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Leon Argider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Lohitzun. Salinas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Santo in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salinas FC's Anselmo Maule got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Santo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Lohitzun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Kepa having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Anselmo Maule was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Fútbol Club Sauce Corto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bartolo Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Lohitzun having to interfere. Leon Argider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Lohitzun having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Fútbol Club Sauce Corto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
