A collision led to Mechita getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jacobo Gumaro hit a great ball. Desiderio Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Feliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Frans was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The supporters of Mechita booed when Talita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Saturnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Txatxu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angel Frans. Talita AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jacinto Saturnin fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talita AFC's protests and gave Jacinto Saturnin a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Saturnin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Mechita got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Frasquito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Henrico in the 27th minute of play forced Mechita's goalkeeper Aureliano Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Ceferino Iratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mechita and the Talita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mechita's Ceferino Iratze got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Aureliano Dalmai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Mechita's Desiderio Feliu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Frans was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Jacinto Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Feliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Talita AFC's zone, Desiderio Feliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Frans came out of the goal and Desiderio Feliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Henrico scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Dalmai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Feliu in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Frans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Talita AFC's Angel Frans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Talita AFC from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Siro Gaspard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mechita the free kick. When Mechita's Desiderio Feliu in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 70th minute Desiderio Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mechita reached it. Angel Frans stood somewhat misplaced when Desiderio Feliu came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 73 minute. 79 minutes into the game, Desiderio Feliu lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Angel Frans. Angel Frans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Feliu in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Feliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Frans was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Mechita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. Angel Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Feliu in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Talita AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ladislao Henrico hit a great ball. If Jaime Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mechita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
