Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Epifanio Demesio took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Nemesio Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Gastona FC's Ernesto Salvatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Satordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gastona FC's Clemente Rayman got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gastona FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ernesto Salvatore hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gastona FC's zone, Albino Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Ignazio came out of the goal and Albino Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Demesio in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Albino Maureo made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Ignazio. Gastona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Palmitas's Flavio Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Demesio in the 18th minute of play. Nemesio Astrada took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Satordi. Flavio Satordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ernesto Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Rayman in the 33rd minute of play. Jeronimo Dalmu's late challenge caught a Gastona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Dalmu helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Flavio Satordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Epifanio Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nemesio Astrada came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Gastona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Astrada couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Maureo in the 49th minute of play forced Gastona FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Enmanuel to make the kick off. Jeronimo Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Flavio Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Astrada in the 64th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Gastona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Enmanuel came free, but Ciriaco Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gastona FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ernesto Salvatore hit a great ball. Albino Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Enmanuel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciriaco Ignazio. That made the score 2-2 in the 89 minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Nemesio Astrada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Flavio Satordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Gastona FC were the better team. Gastona FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
