Spectators: 6550 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) A sloppy throw-in by Alfonso Quilino in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Angastaco AFC's Hector Shepherd. Hristo Stoichkov lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 7th minute, one of Angastaco AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Angastaco AFC. In the 11th minute of the match Palmitas got a corner. Angastaco AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herminio Gilen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Palmitas's Herminio Gilen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leon Tajo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Sonny Mathis came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Angastaco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Mathis couldn't finish the play. Herminio Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ariel Henry hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Angastaco AFC booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Enmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Tajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Maureo in the 27th minute. Flavio Satordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sonny Mathis's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Sonny Mathis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Bemabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Sonny Mathis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Satordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sonny Mathis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angastaco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Mathis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aldo Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Albino Maureo hit a great ball. Flavio Satordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Mathis went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Flavio Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Mathis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Angastaco AFC's goalkeeper Leon Tajo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Maureo. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Mathis to make the kick off. If Siro Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 53 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goalkeeper Flavio Satordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Mathis. 56 minutes into the match, Siro Etor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Satordi, 0-3. In the 64th minute, Sonny Mathis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Satordi. The goal made the score 0-4. Flavio Satordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Mathis went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Herminio Gilen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Palmitas defense, Sonny Mathis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Satordi. The Palmitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Satordi should have stopped the shot. If Siro Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Mathis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Satordi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 94 minutes into the game, Albino Maureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angastaco AFC the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Angastaco AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palmitas.
