Javier Feo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Maurino's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Monteverde's Javier Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Enaut in the 10th minute of play. Fabian Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Bertin having to interfere. Norberto Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Javier Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Israel Enaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Feo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience was convinced that Israel Enaut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Feo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Norberto Maurino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Feo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Jakes during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Licerio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Norberto Maurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cieneguillas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Maurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Monteverde getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fabricio Aurre hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Norberto Maurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cieneguillas's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Maurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Maurino in the 45th minute of play forced Monteverde's goalkeeper Javier Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Augusto Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Leoiar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Frascuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monteverde's Javier Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Maurino in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Monteverde defense, Israel Enaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Feo. The Monteverde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Feo should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Israel Enaut sped through Monteverde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Javier Feo. Cieneguillas's Norberto Maurino got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Cieneguillas were awarded a corner. Dante Leoiar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cieneguillas's Dante Leoiar to fire away a dangerous shot which Javier Feo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Fabian Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monteverde's Aquilino Frascuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabian Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norberto Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
