Aldo Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Corderro in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Placido Berenguer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Procyon ᶠᶜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monteverde the free kick. After 40 played minutes Procyon ᶠᶜ got a freekick which was hit by Placido Berenguer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Koldobika got free with Javier Feo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Procyon ᶠᶜ's Placido Berenguer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Feo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
