Honguito F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Honguito F.C. booed when Procyon ᶠᶜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Procyon ᶠᶜ got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Dorio. In the 43rd minute, Honguito F.C.'s Federico Hodei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aldo Socorro. Aldo Socorro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Berenguer to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Hodei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Socorro having to interfere.
