Spectators: 7311 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Carioca FC's Valentin Rencio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iker Licerio kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Mateo Laffitte scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Feo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Rencio in the 36th minute of play forced Monteverde's goalkeeper Javier Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carioca FC's Valentin Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Monteverde got a freekick which was hit by Iker Licerio. In the 44th match minute, Carioca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Bentes to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Carioca FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Valentin Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Rencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Javier Feo made a huge save. When Valentin Rencio came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Carioca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Rencio couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Laffitte came free, but Javier Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Carioca FC's Mateo Laffitte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Feo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Rencio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carioca FC made a substitution. Luciano Franco replaced Thommy Mestdagh. In the 84th minute Luciano Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Feo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Valentin Rencio sent off a good shot on target. After 87 minutes Monteverde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermengildo Gizon who took care of the corner kick. Hermengildo Gizon made a great header on Carioca FC's corner, it was just that Monteverde's Javier Feo managed to reach the ball for a save. 92 minutes into the game, Luciano Franco lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Javier Feo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Franco in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 98 minutes into the game, Luciano Franco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Javier Feo. Luciano Franco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When the match was over Carioca FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monteverde throughout the match.
