After 12 played minutes, Iguazú's Anacleto Rainerio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Mano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iguazú reached it. Edelmiro Giro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Iguazú getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Anier Mancio hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Honguito F.C.'s Alvaro Romildo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Romildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Raphael was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Bartolome during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 minutes, Anier Mancio made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Honguito F.C.'s Bernardo Mano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Angelillo Veloz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Iguazú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelillo Veloz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Honguito F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Julian Ekaitz hit a great ball. Julian Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Iguazú's Anier Mancio in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Mancio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 minutes of play, Iguazú's Angelillo Veloz made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Mancio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mariano Bermudo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes, Anier Mancio made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. Honguito F.C.'s Bernardo Mano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Hodei took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Raphael. Sebastian Raphael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anier Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguazú's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Mancio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Mano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Narciso Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Mano having to interfere. Iguazú's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
