The audience was convinced that Valentin Rencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Raphael was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When Valentin Rencio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Carioca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Rencio couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Raphael was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Anacleto Rainerio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Iguazú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Rainerio couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Txindoki kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Iguazú's Sebastian Raphael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Iguazú from getting a goal against them. Thommy Mestdagh took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Raphael. Sebastian Raphael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Rencio in the 46th minute of play forced Iguazú's goalkeeper Sebastian Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Rencio to make the kick off. Sebastian Raphael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Rencio's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Mateo Laffitte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Raphael having to interfere. Fausto Rojelio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Mateo Laffitte notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Iguazú's Sebastian Raphael. Sebastian Raphael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Raphael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Rencio's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The supporters of Carioca FC booed when Iguazú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carioca FC made a substitution. Luciano Franco replaced Thommy Mestdagh. Luciano Franco scored 5-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Raphael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Franco in the 82nd minute of the match. Carioca FC's Hermengildo Gizon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Raphael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 92nd minute Luciano Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes Iguazú's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermengildo Gizon who took care of the corner kick. 97 minutes into the match, Carioca FC's Luciano Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Raphael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carioca FC had played much better football throughout.
