Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iguazú's Angelillo Veloz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Bazil kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Angelillo Veloz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matelavau's Aurelio Lluis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Raphael had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Norberto Joseph's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Amancio Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Matelavau were awarded a corner. Norberto Joseph went to the cornerflag to take it. Norberto Joseph made a great header on Matelavau's corner, it was just that Iguazú's Sebastian Raphael managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anier Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguazú's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Mancio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Lluis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Iguazú's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz came free, but Sebastian Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Raphael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Iguazú getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ezequiel Mede hit a great ball. Sebastian Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Joseph in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Eliseo Txindoki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iguazú and the Matelavau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amancio Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Matelavau booed when Iguazú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelillo Veloz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Norberto Joseph fired a really elegant long shot, but Sebastian Raphael threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Iguazú's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norberto Joseph ran over to the corner to take the kick. Norberto Joseph made a great header on Matelavau's corner, it was just that Iguazú's Sebastian Raphael managed to reach the ball for a save. Iguazú's Sebastian Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Napier in the 86th minute of play. The corner ended in Anacleto Rainerio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matelavau's Aurelio Lluis did a great save.
