Spectators: 7385 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) Eugen Bulă started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. ARSEFC's Inocencio Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Dropinski in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute Edgardo Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ARSEFC booed when Martindo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martindo's Rafael Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hug in the 14th minute of play. Jerzy Dropinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martindo's Rafael Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hug in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Bulă in the 44th minute of play forced Martindo's goalkeeper Rafael Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascal Gentric to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Martindo's Fabio Henry seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabio Henry the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Martindo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabio Henry had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Martindo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ARSEFC:s goal. Rafael Viviano had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Attilio Masciarelli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Attilio Masciarelli took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Viviano. Rafael Viviano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 57th minute Jerzy Dropinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hug in the 59th minute of play forced Martindo's goalkeeper Rafael Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Jerzy Dropinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martindo's Jerzy Dropinski got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Masciarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes ARSEFC got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Bulă. In the 79th minute Jerzy Dropinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Lon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Hug in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, ARSEFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Dropinski came free, but Inocencio Lon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Inocencio Lon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Martindo's Rafael Viviano got control of the ball when Hector Hug tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ARSEFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
