After a rather tough play, Beruti FC's Esteve Txerran got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, one of Beruti FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Beruti FC. In the 46th minute Jaime Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Dalmai to make the kick off.
