Maximino Enmanuel's late challenge caught a Laferrere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Benjamin Kismi came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Laferrere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Kismi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Camargo in the 7th minute of play forced Laferrere's goalkeeper Guillermo Chepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Kismi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petrică Ştefoi was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After having played for 27 minutes, Raul Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. loa turris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Gilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Gilen struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Guillermo Chepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for loa turris. Freddy Navarro scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Chepe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. loa turris's Raul Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Raul Gilen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The loa turris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After the first half loa turris were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benjamin Kismi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Raul Gilen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guillermo Chepe. 1-4. Guillermo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Gilen in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, loa turris's Raul Gilen made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillermo Chepe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Raul Gilen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Laferrere defense, Arnaldo Camargo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Chepe. The Laferrere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Chepe should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Raul Gilen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guillermo Chepe. The goal made the score 1-7. Freddy Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. loa turris played a much better game than Laferrere and deserved their victory. The Laferrere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
