After a defensive mix-up in REY DE COPAS's zone, Ruperto Gilabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Iigo came out of the goal and Ruperto Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, REY DE COPAS's Tiburcio Iigo got control of the ball when Ruperto Gilabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Pablo Giralte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocho La Pantera Vive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Giralte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Iigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Giralte went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. REY DE COPAS's Tiburcio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save REY DE COPAS from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the REY DE COPAS defense, Ruperto Gilabert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Iigo. The REY DE COPAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Iigo should have stopped the shot. In the 35th match minute, REY DE COPAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Berto to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Iigo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ruperto Gilabert sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Giralte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tiburcio Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. REY DE COPAS's Tiburcio Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save REY DE COPAS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Giralte in the 42nd minute of play forced REY DE COPAS's goalkeeper Tiburcio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ruperto Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Pablo Giralte made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Pablo Giralte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocho La Pantera Vive's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Giralte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, REY DE COPAS's Elpidio Berto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Pablo Giralte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Iigo. REY DE COPAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Giralte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 64th minute, Fidel Fibell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paolo Lope, passed just outside the right post. In the 69th minute, Niceto Nesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REY DE COPAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 76th minute of the match, Filiberto Karmel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paolo Lope saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute Pablo Giralte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Giralte in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Iigo saved REY DE COPAS from getting behind. Tiburcio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Giralte in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, REY DE COPAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Medero to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th play minute Fidel Fibell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paolo Lope. 3-2. Pocho La Pantera Vive's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
