Utracán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Tallia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Utracán's Saverio Tallia in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Frantzes during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 29 minutes into the match, Utracán's goalkeeper Tomás Haritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Nofre. After 29 played minutes Utracán got a freekick which was hit by Angel Baraquiel. When Andres Frantzes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. A collision led to Utracán getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Andres Frantzes hit a great ball. Tomas Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Tallia in the 36th minute of play. Rosario Central's Tomas Mancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Tallia in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Utracán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Utracán's Angel Baraquiel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Bilintx in the 46 minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Nofre to strike the kick off in the second half. It was beautiful to see Utracán's Ladislao Corderun in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! With splendid footwork Saverio Tallia arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-1 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Angel Baraquiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Mancio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Angel Baraquiel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Constantino Efren, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Feliciano Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Gorka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Tallia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, one of Utracán:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Utracán's Saverio Tallia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Modesto Bilintx, made in the 87th minute of the game. Utracán's Angel Baraquiel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Omar Blai in the 92 minute of the game. Utracán were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
