Anibal Enol kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Ramon Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cosme Cordara fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumalao FC's protests and gave Cosme Cordara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sumalao FC's Cosme Cordara got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Jessop Salah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Haritz. Utracán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jessop Salah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andres Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tomás Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jessop Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Miguel Refugio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tomás Haritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sumalao FC booed when Utracán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Utracán's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Leizarraga came free, but Tomás Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jessop Salah, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Jessop Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Miguel Refugio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tomás Haritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sumalao FC booed when Utracán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jessop Salah in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Haritz saved Utracán from getting behind. Tomás Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tomás Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Refugio in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sumalao FC's Ramon Abajas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sumalao FC's zone, Saverio Tallia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Sedeni came out of the goal and Saverio Tallia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Refugio in the 47th minute of play forced Utracán's goalkeeper Tomás Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Refugio was the one to do the kick off. Tomás Haritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Refugio in the 52nd minute of the match. Tomás Haritz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jessop Salah sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Refugio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 59 minutes into the match, Miguel Refugio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Haritz. Utracán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Refugio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Samuel Garin got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramon Abajas. After 66 played minutes Utracán got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Enol. Tomás Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Jessop Salah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Haritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Utracán's Tomás Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Refugio in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Miguel Refugio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Haritz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 79 minutes into the game, Sumalao FC's Luisito Leizarraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Haritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some careless play in the Utracán defense, Jessop Salah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Haritz. The Utracán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Haritz should have stopped the shot. Tomás Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessop Salah in the 87th minute of play. Tomás Haritz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Sumalao FC's Luisito Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Luisito Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Sumalao FC played a much better game than Utracán and deserved their victory. The Utracán players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
