In the 4th match minute, Raspa que te raspa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Sumalao FC's Ramon Abajas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leopoldo Lopez but with some difficulty. The supporters of Raspa que te raspa booed when Sumalao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessop Salah in the 14th minute of play forced Raspa que te raspa's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Sumalao FC's corner Ramon Abajas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leopoldo Lopez quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Raspa que te raspa's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jessop Salah. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jessop Salah got free with Leopoldo Lopez in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Leizarraga scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Sumalao FC booed when Raspa que te raspa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Ramon Abajas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Raspa que te raspa's Leopoldo Lopez didn't even have to move. Leopoldo Lopez was a little too slow when Jessop Salah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-0. Leopoldo Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Medina hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Ramon Abajas from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Leopoldo Lopez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Refugio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Refugio in the 52nd minute of play. Sumalao FC's Jessop Salah got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 played minutes Sumalao FC got a freekick which was hit by Jessop Salah. Miguel Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Lopez having to interfere. Leopoldo Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Beremundo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Jessop Salah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Lopez came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Sumalao FC's Miguel Refugio. But to his dismay, Miguel Refugio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Sumalao FC's Cosme Cordara got a free kick in the 80th minute. Leopoldo Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessop Salah in the 81st minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Raspa que te raspa's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raspa que te raspa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramon Abajas was slow to take the kick. During this time Sumalao FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Raspa que te raspa's goalie and right to Luisito Leizarraga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Raspa que te raspa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
