Elvio Lluc made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Luisito Leizarraga sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sumalao FC's Leonel Hibai got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Jessop Salah notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rosario Central's Elvio Lluc. Elvio Lluc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Sedeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Bizi in the 17th minute of play. Miguel Refugio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Elvio Lluc 18 minutes into the match. Jessop Salah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Lluc having to interfere. Ricardo Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Sedeni having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Sumalao FC's Jessop Salah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Lluc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emiliano Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Bizi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Sedeni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, Sumalao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessop Salah to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Refugio to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jessop Salah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Lluc was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Isaias Oto had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Miguel Refugio charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 93rd minute, Miguel Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jessop Salah struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Elvio Lluc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumalao FC. Sumalao FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rosario Central for a fine match.
