Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Sotero in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Montay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Celso Gonzalez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leopardi Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trilí the free kick. A collision led to Leopardi Team getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celso Gonzalez hit a great ball. Valentin Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Paolo Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torcato Palha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torcato Palha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Leopardi Team's Leopoldo Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Quilino in the 37th minute of play. Leopoldo Montay was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Augusto Sotero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augusto Sotero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 43 minutes, Augusto Sotero made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leopardi Team's Leopoldo Montay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Nesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Iago made a kick off. Trilí's Torcato Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Iago in the 55th minute of play. Augusto Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montay having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Paulino Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Iago was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Leopardi Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 63rd match minute, Trilí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Arnas to maneuver through the defense. Leopardi Team's Leopoldo Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Sotero in the 66th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Leopardi Team got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Ledesma. Paolo Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Nesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Trilí's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Iago came free, but Torcato Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Trilí failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
