Baldomero Harriet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faustino Montel. 7a0yfue's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7a0yfue's Armando Quinito got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Ritchie in the 13th minute of play. 7a0yfue's Faustino Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Frantzes in the 16th minute of play. Faustino Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Frantzes in the 20th minute of the match. Israel Ritchie took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Montel. Faustino Montel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of OSOPIO booed when 7a0yfue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Cardona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Hernán Leandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Israel Ritchie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Faustino Montel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Marcelo Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faustino Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 43 minutes, Hernán Leandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OSOPIO and the 7a0yfue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernán Leandro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Faustino Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Quinito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Faustino Montel managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when OSOPIO's Israel Ritchie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 7a0yfue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfonso Osorio in the 54th minute. Eliseo Gregory thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tadeo Pierres, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 1-2. After a rather tough play, 7a0yfue's Patricio Ostots got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Marcelo Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Remicio took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Montel. Faustino Montel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Frantzes in the 68th minute of play forced 7a0yfue's goalkeeper Faustino Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernán Leandro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Montel saved 7a0yfue from getting behind. After 69 minutes, Hernán Leandro made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. 7a0yfue's Faustino Montel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute Israel Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Marcelo Frantzes sped through 7a0yfue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Montel. Faustino Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Leandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Faustino Montel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernán Leandro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Turi in the 85th minute of play forced OSOPIO's goalkeeper Tadeo Pierres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, OSOPIO's Israel Ritchie made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Montel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximo Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Montel having to interfere. Tadeo Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Turi in the 94th minute of play.
