An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Walaszkiewicz in the 15th minute of play forced HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE's goalkeeper Honorio Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaston Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorio Hori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Fidele went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arnaldo Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Piorno having to interfere. Olgierd Walaszkiewicz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Honorio Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Walaszkiewicz in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Udalaitz in the 38th minute of play forced HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE's goalkeeper Honorio Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Fidele in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Hori saved HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE from getting behind. Santos Piorno made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Adolfo Sidro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mats Strömberg hit a great ball. Gaston Fidele hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Adolfo Sidro made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Walaszkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Aguilas rojas's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Andrusiow came free, but Santos Piorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Arnaldo Ofelio made a precise shot to the right of Santos Piorno. Aguilas rojas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 61 played minutes HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE got a freekick which was hit by Mats Strömberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Insigne got free with Honorio Hori in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorio Hori was a little too slow when Gaston Fidele got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-2. Aguilas rojas:s Santos Piorno showed great skill when he stopped Arnaldo Ofelio:s penalty. After some careless play in the Aguilas rojas defense, Arnaldo Ofelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Piorno. The Aguilas rojas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Piorno should have stopped the shot. Santos Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Santos Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Guillen in the 76th minute of the match. Aguilas rojas's Santos Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Ofelio in the 77th minute of play.
