The audience was convinced that Love Garvetti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Piorno was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Santos Piorno came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by LED ZEPPELIN F.C's Rubens Baiano. But to his dismay, Rubens Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Rubens Baiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santos Piorno. That made the score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Serafin Frisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Santos Piorno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th match minute, Aguilas rojas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Santos Piorno managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when LED ZEPPELIN F.C's Rubens Baiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubens Baiano in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Piorno saved Aguilas rojas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Baiano in the 40th minute of play forced Aguilas rojas's goalkeeper Santos Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristobal Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LED ZEPPELIN F.C's protests and gave Cristobal Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aguilas rojas booed when LED ZEPPELIN F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LED ZEPPELIN F.C's goalkeeper Tiburcio Eliazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Piorno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Baiano in the 44th minute. Aguilas rojas's Santos Piorno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Aguilas rojas from getting a goal against them. Rubens Baiano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santos Piorno firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubens Baiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Baiano in the 51st minute of play forced Aguilas rojas's goalkeeper Santos Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Baiano in the 60th minute of play forced Aguilas rojas's goalkeeper Santos Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Love Garvetti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. LED ZEPPELIN F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Piorno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Cirilo Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Aguilas rojas's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Baiano came free, but Santos Piorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aguilas rojas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Olgierd Walaszkiewicz hit a great ball. LED ZEPPELIN F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Love Garvetti in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Rubens Baiano notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Aguilas rojas's Santos Piorno. Santos Piorno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santos Piorno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Love Garvetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Baiano in the 89th minute of the match. Love Garvetti scored 8-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Piorno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aguilas rojas's Santos Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Benet in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LED ZEPPELIN F.C had played much better football throughout.
