After some careless play in the Empalme defense, Siro Lobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Bartoli. The Empalme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Bartoli should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Lobo in the 17th minute of play forced Empalme's goalkeeper Hilario Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roque Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Herminio Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Francho during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oran f.c. booed when Empalme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Francho didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Oran f.c. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sebastian Mel hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Just Fontaine made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Efrain Llin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilario Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Just Fontaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Oran f.c.'s Claudio Berriotxoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Oran f.c. from getting a goal against them. After 61 played minutes Empalme got a freekick which was hit by Roque Casomiro. 62 minutes into the match, Empalme's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Lobo came free, but Hilario Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Joel Fero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empalme's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oran f.c. the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Empalme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Fero to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Llin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Hilario Bartoli came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Oran f.c.'s Just Fontaine. But to his dismay, Just Fontaine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. With a little luck, Oran f.c.'s Claudio Berriotxoa got control of the ball when Herminio Francho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Empalme's Hilario Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Lobo in the 76th minute of play. Hilario Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Poz in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Siro Lobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Bartoli. Empalme's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siro Lobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Hilario Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Fero hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Just Fontaine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Bartoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Poz in the 88th minute of play forced Empalme's goalkeeper Hilario Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Oran f.c. were the better team. Oran f.c.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
