Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Gogo Timo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Remigio Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Vimaro in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Ramon Maurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Sanduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Vimaro in the 7th minute of play. Remigio Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Gaxan in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Azul defense, Ramon Maurino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Sanduru. The Azul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Sanduru should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Gryffindor Lions's Manuel Tonio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Sanduru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Gogo Timo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Gogo Timo made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Sanduru. Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Timo in the 31st minute of play forced Azul's goalkeeper Remigio Sanduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Irrintzi having to interfere. Remigio Sanduru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Vimaro went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Timo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Sanduru saved Azul from getting behind. After the first half Gryffindor Lions were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Garikoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Bruno Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Isidor kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Azul's Remigio Sanduru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Azul from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Gogo Vimaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Remigio Sanduru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Ramon Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gogo Timo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Remigio Sanduru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Azul defense, Gogo Timo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Sanduru. The Azul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Sanduru should have stopped the shot. Remigio Sanduru was a little too slow when Gogo Vimaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-9. Remigio Sanduru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Vimaro went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Remigio Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Gogo Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Sanduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Eustacio Gaxan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remigio Sanduru, 0-11. Remigio Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Azul's Nicasio Chorche got a free kick in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Azul's goalkeeper Remigio Sanduru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Timo. Gryffindor Lions's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
