In the 3rdth minute of the game Cecilio Otoniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's Lucien Grondin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's zone, Raymond Van Beetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Grondin came out of the goal and Raymond Van Beetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 minutes, Cecilio Otoniel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's Lucien Grondin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucien Grondin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Van Beetz in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucien Grondin saved MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP from getting behind. In the 12th minute Raymond Van Beetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Grondin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Raymond Van Beetz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cocoelgrosos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's Lisandro Luzea got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Raymond Van Beetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's Lucien Grondin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Raymond Van Beetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Grondin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cocoelgrosos's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Van Beetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucien Grondin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucien Grondin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Van Beetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Van Beetz came free, but Lucien Grondin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mercurio Veraza hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Otoniel in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucien Grondin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cecilio Otoniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucien Grondin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Raymond Van Beetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucien Grondin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raymond Van Beetz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's zone, Raymond Van Beetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Grondin came out of the goal and Raymond Van Beetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Fresco made a kick off. Cecilio Otoniel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Lucien Grondin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucien Grondin was a little too slow when Raymond Van Beetz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 61st minute, Cocoelgrosos's Cecilio Otoniel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. With a little luck, MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's Lucien Grondin got control of the ball when Rolando Etxekopar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cecilio Otoniel came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Cocoelgrosos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Otoniel couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Lucien Grondin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Van Beetz in the 71st minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Raymond Van Beetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Lucien Grondin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's zone, Raymond Van Beetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cocoelgrosos's Benedicto Sein was substituted for Fausto Cristos. Jeremias Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Loramendi in the 87th minute of play forced MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's goalkeeper Lucien Grondin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Loramendi might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucien Grondin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Loramendi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 89 minutes, Cecilio Otoniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocoelgrosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Otoniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! In the 92nd minute, the referee gave Cocoelgrosos a penalty. Favila Gavito looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Lucien Grondin. Lucien Grondin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Sein in the 95th minute of play. Benedicto Sein succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 95th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP's zone, Cecilio Otoniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Grondin came out of the goal and Cecilio Otoniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The MARCONI Y PEÑA-MDP fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cocoelgrosos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
