Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arturo Gumaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavio Senio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Empalme's Hilario Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Gumaro in the 6th minute of play. If Roque Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Bartoli made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Leandro Balasi sent off a good shot on target. Joel Fero hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Tauren F.C's David Rosario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Felipe Medero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Loi was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Berriotxoa during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Tauren F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. David Rosario hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Herminio Francho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Loi having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Medero in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Loi saved Tauren F.C from getting behind. The supporters of Tauren F.C booed when Empalme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Flavio Senio fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tauren F.C's protests and gave Flavio Senio a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes, Empalme's Ovidio Larpe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Loi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Empalme reached it. Ramiro Loi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Medero's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Medero was the one to do the kick off. Roque Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Loi having to interfere. Ramiro Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Medero in the 53rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Empalme:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tauren F.C:s goal. 64 minutes into the match, Empalme's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Balasi came free, but Hilario Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Ramiro Loi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felipe Medero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Loi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Empalme's Hilario Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Berriotxoa in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Arturo Gumaro made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Bartoli. Empalme's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Herminio Francho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ramiro Loi made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Leandro Balasi notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Empalme's Hilario Bartoli. Hilario Bartoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 played minutes Empalme got a freekick which was hit by Joel Fero. Israel Mincho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Bartoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Felipe Medero came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Empalme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Medero couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Felipe Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empalme's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Empalme's Felipe Medero in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tauren F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Hilario Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
