In the 8th minute Camilo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jeronimo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Carrisito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Neto couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jeronimo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Camilo Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Carrisito's Camilo Lazcano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Bernat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Camilo Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Bernat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Nicolás Reniero charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolás Reniero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Carrisito got a freekick which was hit by Nicolás Reniero. After having played for 24 minutes, Geronimo Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Lanus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Acevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Bernat came out of the goal and Nicolás Reniero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gregorio Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Apolo Maurino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrisito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Lanus the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Orlanda in the 78th minute of play forced Carrisito's goalkeeper Luis Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Bernat made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Camilo Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Camilo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrisito's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Bernat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Reniero's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute, Club Atlético Lanus's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godofredo Erauso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carrisito's Dario Matro was substituted for Jeronimo Neto. Seppo Rontti succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Carrisito played a much better game than Club Atlético Lanus and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Lanus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
