Fernan Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Aurken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. When Jeronimo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Carrisito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Neto couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Gora was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Eguntsenti to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Malabrigo got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Martxelin. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Mark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Eguntsenti in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Malabrigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Carrisito's Dario Matro was substituted for Jeronimo Neto. A collision led to Malabrigo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tiburcio Alvarez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Malabrigo's Florencio Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Fabricio Refugio hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After 100 minutes, Cesar Hermelando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malabrigo and the Carrisito players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Malabrigo getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Cesar Hermelando hit a great ball. 101 minutes into the match, Carrisito's Apolo Maurino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Carrisito played a much better game than Malabrigo and deserved their victory. The Malabrigo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
