Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Raimond Lenk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mattias Erik kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Vlad Cazacu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Tassotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Raimond Lenk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Jerrald in the 18th minute of play. If Alex Goodwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattias Erik succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliks Czeszejko couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Cleto Onofre got a free kick in the 40th minute. Augusto Azeari shot from long distance in the 41st minute, but Raimond Lenk was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 45 minutes of play, Sportlandia FC's Alex Goodwin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimond Lenk was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Julian Jerrald made the kick off in the second half. Nunez Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Sportlandia FC's goalkeeper Fabio Tassotti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Hernandez. Constantino Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Tassotti having to interfere. In the 61st minute Julian Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piri Vangioni hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fabio Tassotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Idacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Sportlandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Cazacu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
