Cecilio Oriche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torsten Vallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Vallengren in the 18th minute of the match. Cecilio Oriche came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Chacabuco FC's Jefferson Furlan. But to his dismay, Jefferson Furlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Andres Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Torsten Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Francisco Balesio made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Oriche. Haedo Footbal Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Cecilio Oriche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The supporters of Chacabuco FC booed when Haedo Footbal Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Oriche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Haedo Footbal Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Torsten Vallengren scored to the left of an out of position Cecilio Oriche, making the score, 0-11. Francisco Balesio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 81st playminute. Haedo Footbal Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Francisco Balesio scored to the left of an out of position Cecilio Oriche, making the score, 0-13. Francisco Balesio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cecilio Oriche made a huge save. Norberto Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cecilio Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Chacabuco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Haedo Footbal Club.
