Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Torsten Vallengren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Chacabuco FC's Francisco Balesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicasio Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 5 played minutes Chacabuco FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Jesco. Elvio Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Aballe in the 6th minute of the match. Torsten Vallengren scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torsten Vallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Navarro having to interfere. A collision led to Rio Cuarto FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Danilo Pacho hit a great ball. Ismael Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nicasio Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Balesio in the 26th minute of the match. Chacabuco FC's Francisco Balesio got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Torsten Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Pacho during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chacabuco FC booed when Rio Cuarto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Elvio Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, Chacabuco FC's Francisco Balesio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Abancens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes, Melchor Victoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacabuco FC and the Rio Cuarto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rio Cuarto FC booed when Chacabuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After having played for 52 minutes, Torsten Vallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacabuco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Vallengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chacabuco FC made a substitution. Teobaldo Gartxot replaced Anier Bladi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Aballe in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Llorienzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicasio Navarro was a little too slow when Torsten Vallengren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 75 minutes Rio Cuarto FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Banegas who took care of the corner kick. Torsten Vallengren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicasio Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Torsten Vallengren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 76th minute. Torsten Vallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Balesio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Navarro having to make a save. Torsten Vallengren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Torsten Vallengren struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nicasio Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacabuco FC. The Chacabuco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
