Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Ismael Aballe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Yahya Oylum took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Navarro. Nicasio Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th minute, Ricardo Quinito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rio Cuarto FC booed when Hoyón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Hoyón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yahya Oylum to maneuver through the defense. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Yahya Oylum kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Nicasio Navarro never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Alejandro Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Aballe in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Jerrold in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erubiel Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Navarro having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Yahya Oylum notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Rio Cuarto FC's Nicasio Navarro. Nicasio Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yahya Oylum to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Erubiel Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Cuarto FC's Nicasio Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute, Honorio Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Rio Cuarto FC defense, Yahya Oylum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Navarro. The Rio Cuarto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Navarro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Jerrold in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Navarro saved Rio Cuarto FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Erubiel Jerrold sped through Rio Cuarto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicasio Navarro. Yahya Oylum struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nicasio Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoyón. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Cuarto FC's goalkeeper Nicasio Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Cuarto FC's zone, Erubiel Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Navarro came out of the goal and Erubiel Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Hernando having to interfere. When Yahya Oylum came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hoyón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yahya Oylum couldn't finish the play. Hoyón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rio Cuarto FC for a fine match.
