Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Torsten Vallengren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Calvo's Alex Novais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Balesio in the 4th minute of play. If Torsten Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Chacabuco FC's Alex Novais threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Torsten Vallengren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Torsten Vallengren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alex Novais 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Calvo's zone, Torsten Vallengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Novais came out of the goal and Torsten Vallengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Torsten Vallengren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Novais. The goal made the score 2-0. Calvo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Jairo Lorenz scored to the left of an out of position Alex Novais, making the score, 3-0. After 31st play minutes Torsten Vallengren shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Alex Novais and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 34th minute, Francisco Balesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jefferson Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Calvo's Alex Novais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Calvo from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes, Fernan Banegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacabuco FC and the Calvo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Calvo booed when Chacabuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Novais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Torsten Vallengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacabuco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Torsten Vallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Vallengren struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alex Novais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacabuco FC. The supporters of Chacabuco FC booed when Calvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Woodyat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Torsten Vallengren notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Calvo's Alex Novais. Alex Novais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Balesio took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Novais. Alex Novais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Alex Novais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Vallengren in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Calvo defense, Jefferson Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Novais. The Calvo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Novais should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Calvo's zone, Francisco Balesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Novais came out of the goal and Francisco Balesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsten Vallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Fernan Banegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Alex Novais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Chacabuco FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
