Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Rio Cuarto FC's Ismael Aballe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldo Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Navarro having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Ismael Aballe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santiago Johans, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ismael Aballe sped through ReLoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Johans. When Romulo Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the ReLoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Caitano couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, Rio Cuarto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, ReLoca's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Aballe came free, but Santiago Johans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Celedonio Gonzales recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Johans. Celedonio Gonzales showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Aldo Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ReLoca's Santiago Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Aballe in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes ReLoca got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Victoro. Ismael Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adrian Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the game, Ismael Aballe lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Santiago Johans. Santiago Johans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Montay hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ismael Aballe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Santiago Johans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Aballe in the 43rd minute of play forced ReLoca's goalkeeper Santiago Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Cuarto FC's Godfredo Sotero got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Caitano to strike the kick off in the second half. ReLoca's Santiago Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ponciano in the 52nd minute of play. Santiago Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Romulo Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Aballe in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Aballe in the 77th minute of play forced ReLoca's goalkeeper Santiago Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Rio Cuarto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Aldo Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ismael Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
