Omar Estebano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Omar Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahya Oylum in the 8th minute of the match. If Yahya Oylum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Hoyón booed when Karasuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Yahya Oylum notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Karasuno's Omar Estebano. Omar Estebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erubiel Jerrold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Estebano having to make a save. Erubiel Jerrold might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Estebano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Jerrold ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 minutes, Anastasio Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karasuno and the Hoyón players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karasuno fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Oylum in the 36th minute of play forced Karasuno's goalkeeper Omar Estebano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Estebano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yahya Oylum went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Hoyón's Erubiel Jerrold in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karasuno's goalie prevented a goal. If Yahya Oylum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Omar Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Jerrold in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Karasuno defense, Yahya Oylum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Estebano. The Karasuno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Estebano should have stopped the shot. When Yahya Oylum came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Hoyón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yahya Oylum couldn't finish the play. Karasuno's Omar Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Jerrold in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Jerrold in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Estebano saved Karasuno from getting behind. Alejandro Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Erubiel Jerrold fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Omar Estebano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erubiel Jerrold showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 85 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Karasuno's zone, Erubiel Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Estebano came out of the goal and Erubiel Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yahya Oylum who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Omar Estebano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erubiel Jerrold was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Hoyón's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hoyón's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
