Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Haroldo Tauro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Machigasta's German Florian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Fidencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If German Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Ayala hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute German Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fernan Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Florian struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Fernan Fidencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machigasta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Perrando got free with Mateo Hegoi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Patxi in the 29th minute of play. Baltasar Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fernan Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Machigasta booed when Morales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Pascual Calvet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Fidencio skillfully saved the ball. Jacobo Perrando kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Machigasta's goalkeeper Mateo Hegoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Perrando. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Florian in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Fidencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 played minutes Morales got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Baumar. When Pascual Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Machigasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Calvet couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Machigasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Patxi to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Hegoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Tauro went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Calvet made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Jacobo Perrando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morales 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Machigasta the free kick. A collision led to Morales getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jacobo Perrando hit a great ball. Morales 's Fernan Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Calvet in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cosme Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machigasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Patxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Fidencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Machigasta's Baltasar Venceslao got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luciano Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Bikendi in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernan Fidencio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Jacobo Perrando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. The supporters of Machigasta booed when Morales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Morales 's goalkeeper Fernan Fidencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Bikendi. If Cosme Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Morales could leave the field as winners, despite Machigasta having more of the ball for most of the match.
